Calendar

Edited

The Calendar tab gives you a real-time, read-only view of your office’s schedule pulled directly from your practice management system. This allows your team and AI workflows to understand availability and appointment context without making any changes.

What the Calendar Tab Is (and Isn’t)

✅ What It Does

  • Displays appointments from your practice management system

  • Shows providers, patients, appointment times, and statuses

  • Updates automatically as your schedule changes

  • Helps power AI responses and scheduling awareness

🚫 What It Does Not Do

  • Create appointments

  • Edit or move appointments

  • Confirm, cancel, or reschedule visits

  • Change any data in your PMS

Important: The Calendar tab is view-only. Annie cannot modify your schedule.

Accessing the Calendar

  1. Log in to your Annie Dashboard.

  2. Click Calendar in the left-hand navigation.

You’ll see a timeline-style view of your office schedule.

Understanding the Calendar View

Date Navigation

  • Use Today to jump back to the current date

  • Click the date selector to jump to a specific day

Time Grid

  • Appointments are displayed by time of day

  • Each column represents a provider, operatory, or schedule grouping

  • The vertical axis shows hourly time blocks

Appointment Cards

Each appointment may display:

  • Patient name

  • Provider

  • Appointment time

  • Status indicators (e.g. Unconfirmed, No-Show)

These indicators are pulled directly from your practice management system and cannot be edited in Annie.

Appointment Status Indicators

You may see icons or labels such as:

  • Unconfirmed

  • 🚫 No-Show

  • Other PMS-specific status markers

These reflect the current status in your PMS and update automatically.
